Parameters

Custom author tag

If you would like, you can supply an unnamed parameter with this template to provide the way you'd like to be attributed – for example, your full name or a link to your Commons userpage.

Others' work

You can also make it clear that the uploader is not the author by specifying a value for the other parameter.

Only CC-NC and GFDL

If you don't want to distribute the work under a commercially-compatible CC license, you may do so by supplying a nc=yes parameter. This makes the template essentially equivalent to Template:Tl, except that the CC license version is 3.0 and not 2.0.
