This redirect does not make sense, to me a batfish is a marine critter, but of course common names are tiresome... Huw Powell 20:48, 13 February 2011 (EST)

It may very well be a marine fish as well. If you notice all of the CN (and SN) are in a {{cn}} and {{sn}} template. This template will turn the links into links if the CN page is anything but a redirect to the current page. So if a CN has more then one fish we create a disambig page like Neon. This is not a disambig page because we do not have Batfish CN listed under SW entry. Are you talking about this fish Platax orbicularis --Brian 09:22, 14 February 2011 (EST)
