Origin[edit]
- Asia: Mekong, Salween and Chao Phraya basins; also from the northern Malay Peninsula.
Environment specifics[edit]
- Requires a laterally spacious tank due to its active nature. A secure lid is a must. They do well in very matured tanks with excellent water quality. They are not too fussy about décor but do best with some dense planting and dark substrate with dim lighting.
