What it is?[edit]

AFI is short for Aquarium Fish International. A long-standing American based monthly magazine. The magazine originally began in October 1988 as Aquarium Fish Magazine containing articles and columns on aquarium fish, plants, corals, invertebrates and equipment including subjects such as food, chemistry, filtration, disease and health, and others such as setup and maintenance. Beginning with the February 2007 issue, the name was changed to Aquarium Fish International and had a circulation of more than 31,000. Another magazine Freshwater and Marine Aquarium magazine ceased publication, several columns merging with AFI. AFI ceased publication in October 2012. [1][2]
