Additional names
- Catalina Goby, Blue-Banded Goby
Tank compatibility
- Keep one Catalina Goby to a tank, they will not tolerate their own kind. As this is a small fish, best for invert rocky set ups with few other fish, any fish to be kept with the Catalina Goby should be peaceful and not occupy the same areas.
Environment specifics
- Prefers cooler waters and will perish if kept at warmer tropical temperatures. Needs rocky places to hide.
Identification
- A highly attractive little Goby. Has a typical Goby body shape with bright red-orange base colour with several vertical brilliant blue bands running from it's head and right down it's body.
