- Found throughout North, Central and South America: northern Florida, USA southward through the Greater and Lesser Antilles to Trinidad and Tobago, and from Tamaulipas, Mexico southward to Caracas, Venezuela; central Baja California Sur and Sonora, Mexico southward to Tumbes, Peru[1].
Diet[edit]
- An omnivore that will accept most foods including pellets, flake and algae as well as live/frozen foods such as tubifex and brine shrimp.
Feeding regime[edit]
- Feed once or twice a day. A bottom feeder so ensure food will sink.
