Additional names
- Catalina Goby, Blue-Banded Goby
Tank compatibility
- Keep one Catalina Goby to a tank, they will not tolerate their own kind. As this is a small fish, best for invert rocky set ups with few other fish, any fish to be kept with the Catalina Goby should be peaceful and not occupy the same areas.
= Environment specifics
- Prefers cooler waters and will perish sooner than usual if kept at warmer tropical temperatures. Needs rocky places to hide.
Identification
- A highly attractive little goby. Has a typical goby body shape with bright red-orange base color with several brilliant vertical blue bands running from its head and right down its body.
