Environment specifics[edit]
- This fish requires a very large and long tank with subdued lighting. They are fairly unfussy when it comes to decor and any that is added should be secure.
Identification[edit]
- Can be misidentified as the False Siamese Tiger Fish.
- Identification and differentiation between the different species can be based on the Anatomy of the Datnoid Tigerfish, for example by comparing the stripe patterns, fin shapes.
