Environment Specifics

Not a plant for beginners. High light is a must, as well as substrate fertilization (or liquid or dry fertilizers). CO2 supplementation is a plus. Plant separate plantlets in a checkerboard pattern 1" away from each other to encourage growth. If there is not enough light it will grow upwards rather than forming the desirable carpet look most keepers get this plant for.

Identification

Small green plant which grows into an attractive carpet with oval-shaped leaves.
