This section requires expansion with: Methods for differentiating male and females. |
Tank compatibility
- Should not be kept with small fish. Should not be kept with aggressive fish. Will eat inverts.
Diet
- The Immaculate Puffer is carnivorous and requires a varied diet of meaty foods which are high in protein. Foods such as chopped seafood, snails or small shrimp can be used for young Immaculate Puffers. Adult puffers can be fed thawed shrimp, clams or mussels, or live invertebrates. Some Immaculate puffers will accept pellet foods. Crunchy foods like clams or mussels can wear at the puffer fish's beak, lessening or removing the need for trimming as the fish ages.
Feeding regime
- Two or more times daily.
