Origin[edit]
- Found in Stanley Pool (in the Congo basin) and Ubangi River in Africa.
Sexing[edit]
- Difficult to visually sex.
Tank compatibility[edit]
- This fish is a predator so is best kept with larger bottom dwelling fish. Smaller fish may be eaten and larger mid-top dwelling fish may be fin-nipped.
Diet[edit]
- Will accept most meaty foods such as bloodworm and brine shrimp. May or may not be weaned on to pellets and flake.
