Sexing[edit]

Difficult to visually sex, males will have a slightly larger and thicker hump than females.


Identification[edit]

A distinctive fish that is silver/grey in colour with some black markings and with a bold hump on the forehead, this is thin, almost transparent, expansion of the spine.
