Tank compatibility[edit]

Like all African Cichlids, these are cave dwellers, and medium aggressive, can be kept with any African Lake Cichlids. They will show more aggression to other Cichlids of the yellowish shades. Not a community fish

Environment specifics[edit]

High PH substrate like crushed coral, and water hardness at 8-20. They prefer 23.9-25.6°C (75-78°F) temperatures.

Behaviour[edit]

Aggressive cave dweller, territorial. Keep with lots of rocks and caves.

Identification[edit]

Long slender body, solid lemon yellow colour, with pointed facial features, very unlike other African Cichlid body styles.
