This lists those type of snails known generally as 'Nerite snails' from the family Neritidae, the nerites. They can live in freshwater. But whilst their eggs can hatch out in freshwater, they require brackish or marine water to develop into adults.
Other types of Nerites of which the species name or other details are unknown:
