They are found on reefs across the Indo-Pacific, from China to Queensland.

[edit] Sexing

Nudibranchs are hermaphroditic, however they do not fertilise themselves when breeding and will pair up, with both individuals then laying eggs.

Not recommended for keeping in captivity due to their sensitivity.

Extremely fussy eaters, the Notodoris Minor exclusively feeds on calcareous sponges belonging to the Leucettidae family.

Very delicate to changes in their environment. Requires an SG of 1.023-1.025.

Constantly on the prowl for food, they are a form of sea slug therefore move quite slowly and can be a target for boisterous fish.

This nudibranch is a member of the Doridoidea family, it has a broad flat foot with it's gills midway along it's body hidding under 3 lobes. It's coloured a very bright vivid yellow, including the rhinophores, and this is criss-crossed with thin black lines, as if it's been splashed by black paint.
