Environment Specifics

The leaves vary in length depending on aquarium conditions. For the best result, provide bright lighting and a nutrient-and-iron rich loose substrate. Under moderate lighting, the leaves may appear thin and weak. Bright lighting intensify the leaf colour.

Identification

Grows similar to Hygrophilia in plant shape, with elongated green leaves and a copper/red stem.
